Every year the boys have a grand Halloween parade and this year mom decided to join in the fun! It was super cute to see each classroom file through. You could see the innocence of the infants and toddlers, curiously wondering what this is all about until you get to VWs classroom where they march in like they own the place.
DGs class marching through, he was so excited to see me and thought we were headed home afterwards, which caused quite the scene, but we both recovered.
Here are the rock stars (oldest kids in the joint)...they know how its done! Fun parade with lots of great characters and plenty of yummy treats!

Halloween Games
Our annual trip to Prairie Life Halloween game night! Always a great times, especially since we get to hang out with our cousins!!
This year they had a bounce maze, which is absolutely the best hit ever and a little dangerous! [DG was launched off at the end when an older kid came bouncing through, we some how missed the noggin!]
Off to try to win ourselves some games. Aim - throw - pick out your treat! DG selected suckers all night!
A little innocence and then some scary roaring!
The big cousins showing us how its all done!
These are the cutest ninjas I've ever seen!
80s girl...with a sweet smile!
Everyone concentrating hard to win this game...where did the red candy go, watch and watch, and select carefully!

Pumpkin Guts
Just like we contemplated a trip to a pumpkin patch, we contemplated carving pumpkins, but in the end decided to continue on with holiday traditions.
This adventure started with Daddy finding his little hand saw and VW screaming and running, "don't saw me, don't saw me!!" Squealing and chasing galore!
Ok, settle down and start the carving...the boys watch Daddy and his amazing carving techniques.
First time done! Great accomplishment for the boys, as they excited display the 'lids' to their jack-o-laterns.
Time to dig in, but not before we had the biggest spoons ever and wet wipes readily available. We would NOT want to get pumpkin guts on us! Mommy did the majority of the clean out. Eventually the boys joined in, inquisitively digging, sometimes taking turns, but finally had a pumpkin ready for carving...with a little drama along the way.
Then Mommy and Daddy went into action, thinking simpler this year as the boys ran by us, screaming, crying, hitting, punching, and all that fun brotherly fighting. Ta-Dah!
