I AM

Asking questions and continuous learning is very much a part of life and I hope that I can be as inquisitive as our young, growing boys to seek wisdom. As important as it is to seek wisdom, who you are seeking insight from is just as important. I fervently pray that our boys will seek Godly counsel and surround themselves with Godly men.

As we near the end of 2013 and I think about the year ahead, I seek to continue to grow in my relationship with God, seeking wisdom, comfort, and council…affirming who He is in my life.

The boys were so excited to have a day with Nana and Papa! And no going to buddies on a Thursday...a buddies day! So the ventured off to check out all the amazing flying machines at the Sac Air Museum.

They had so much and still talk about the planes, how high they were, how big they were and only 2 people sat in them...and all the other fun they experienced.

Lazy Christmas Afternoon

We had a wonderful lazy Christmas afternoon. After opening gifts and having a yummy brunch of monkey bread and casserole, we hung out and played.

VW really got in to making a neat tower with his marble set and having races!

 Hungry, Hungry Hippo with Papa!

And then an attack break for tickles (not so relaxing) but lots of family fun!

Celebrating with the Cousins

Christmas evening we headed over to our cousins house for the finale of Christmas gatherings. After a wonderful meal, we headed over to the tree for some family photos!

Then the waiting and anticipation of all those gifts could not last any longer...so time to hand out the gifts!

Quick pose with the gifts before we rip into them!

Then the fun, excitement and chaos begins. Actually, its quite amazing how the rhythm and flow of each kid open their gift occurs. Lots of great gifts...a moose, clothes, art supplies, match box cars pirate cave, books, water speakers, sleeping bags, blankets, ear phones, excavators, lamps, robots...

What a wonderful blessing and end to the Christmas season! We have so much to be thankful for, such abundance in all that we could give and humbly receive. May the Joy and Reason of the Season always remain on our hearts!
