I haven’t documented some of the conversations that we have been having with VW lately. He seriously is always telling us what is on his mind. It makes me laugh!
After a rough week with him…it actually isn’t really his fault…Mommy and Daddy have been letting him get away from manners and somewhere along the way he decided it was okay to whine and cry. Nope…not an option at our house.
Anyway, back to the cute VW conversations. As we are rushing out of the house this morning, I called VW for the second time to come downstairs to get his shoes on. I put DG in his car seat, grabbed my 5 bags (seriously, do I really need this much stuff), the container of muffins for DGs teachers (it is his last day in the baby room), VW exclaims, uh, reprimands me for leaving something on the stairs.
“Mom, you do not leave something on the stairs, someone may fall, you can do better next time.”
Okay buddy. I will remember to not leave things on the stairs.
VW gets his shoes and jacket on and starts buckling himself in his car seat and tells me that he listened and he would like some gum, please.
Then he tells me about his cars in his pocket for show-n-tell. And his chapstick.
“When you go to Michigan, you can watch movies. Or Grandma and Papa’s. Or Nana and Papa’s, cuz they are far away. But not to buddies, that is not far away.”
“Garbage truck!”
“Yep, it is garbage truck day.”
“There is another one that way!”
“Did you know if you had flames coming out the back of your car, you would be really fast!”
“really?”
“If you turn them off, you are slow, but flames are fast!”
Now, could you imagine me coming down the road in my vans with flames shooting out the back…love it!
