The K Family Annual Christmas Tree Photo Op

Instead of squishing in front of the tree at Aunt K and Uncle C house, we used the gigantic tree at the church! We still managed to cover it all up, but I think they turned out pretty could...the most important proudly displayed! What a great bunch!

Party #2

The second Christmas party began in Springfield SD at Uncle C and Aunt Ks. It was so great to have mommy's baby sister host (& they were wonderful host/hostess) and it was a fun time with plenty of laughter, noise, and food.

The boys adore their Cousin JE and quickly spoiled her, giggled with her and followed her around. Here they are enjoying Grandma's yummy ham sandwiches.

It was the first time we have headed to the Christmas Eve service by walking across a parking lot! It was a beautiful evening, and following in the back, so humbling to see my family, hand-in-hand, talking, giggling, and sharing in the Christmas spirit. Uncle C had a wonderful message and even Cousin JE participated by lighting the unity candle. She was too adorable and marched right up there to help.

One gift to open on Christmas Eve.

Then the babes went to bed, the wine and goodies came out, and the gift exchange begins! I think it was a outstanding time all around and everyone celebrated the generous gifts!

Christmas morning the kids opened and played with their gifts. They definitely received a hauling of amazing gifts. Look at the joy on each of their faces.

The rest of the day was more eating...

Hanging out in our jammies, and stretching our legs on a brisk walk (or ride if you are VW and DG).

What a wonderful, blessed celebration!

A Little Hockey & A Little Shine

After wonderful food and gift opening with the boys, we headed to the boys first hockey game. We had amazing seats and the boys watched in awe and excitement all the action. DG loved the noise...the drums, the cowbells and the slap of the stick on the ice. VW kept cheering, even though none of us really know much about the strategy of the game! The boys had a blast and were amazing consider we left for the game at their bed time!

We left the game early and experienced downtowns million lights shining bright in the foggy night. What a beautiful sight and a glorious night!
