The Day Has FINALLY Arrived

VW, you were so excited to turn five and have been counting down the days since we can remember, but we only let you truly count when the calendar finally switched over to May. And today IS THE DAY! Happy Birthday to our amazing, five-year-old!

We awoke to rain this morning, which seemed quite appropriate because the first month of your life we spent a lot of time in the basement due to the weather and tornado sirens! However, this day turned out to be glorious (humid), but this year just so perfect to be outside.

Your family came over to enjoy the big event!
We ate hamburgers, one of your fav meals!

You had a lot of assistance opening presents!

And got some wonderful gifts...

books, camera, clothes, games, golf club,

swing, whopee cushion and so much more.
