Six Two

Back to the doctor's office this month for VWs five-year check-up. He passed with flying colors. Since he is not going to Kindergaten next fall, he didn't have to all the testing, but they did test his eyes. He was to precious looking into the big machine.

     Nurse: which way is the E pointing?

     VW: Robin.

     Nurse, "uh, yea. giggle."

Most kids must just say bird?!?


He also had a few questions for doc and he even asked!

     Question: "if you poke this (a wort on his thumb), will it bleed?"
     Answer: No. Does it bother you? We can remove it.
     Response: No.

     That's resolved.

     Question/comment: having dry pants at night?
     Answer: You are still growing! Make sure you go #2 in the morning and at night.
     Response: k.

     Well, then. There you have it.


And finally, how much did we grow?

He gained weight! And moved from the 10th percentile to the 20th percentile for his age. He now weighs a whopping 36 lbs! [remember DG is 30.]

However, he also grew THREE inches. He is now 3.6 feet tall.
We didn't talk about BMI. That would just be crazy for this tall, thin guy!

We did learn that he is projected to be 6'2". Wow! There some height for you! Guess he is going to continue to be like Uncle B, except with brown eyes! No complaining here...they are both pretty handsome!
