Van Scrub

Life as a full-time wife, mommy, and employee gets nearly overwhelming if you are not purposeful in your activities. This Mommy wants so much to 'nurture' each of these relationships and each of these need a different focus from Mommy and sometimes no nurturing occurs. BUT, there is hope, life is a little different when you are not always in a hurry, watching the clock, running the 'quick" errand, and stuffing your face before the next meeting/activity!

This is what Monday's are for me, we slow down, we take time to enjoy our activities and we watch the world through the boys eyes. WOW, everything is sure different when you slow down, experience God, and live life with the innocent view of your children.

This particular Monday it was time for our van to get a bath! We watched it get sprayed, scrubbed, and vacuumed!

Of course, it was important for us to sit for a moment and have a snack!

Then, a wonderful grandpa asked if he could take our picture, as we basked in the sunlight! Such a wonderful, simple activity, with no hurrying...we are refreshed (& our van is cleaned)!
