I Am Thankful For...

Last year we started the tradition of asking VW what he was thankful at the dinner table during the month of November. It was so cute what he came up with at three-years-old and how he mostly listed each of his family members.

This year has been extra special, because each of the boys participated in making our turkey and cutting out the feathers.

First we traced our feet to make the body of the turkey. DG even tried to trace his own foot!

Then VW proudly cut out the feathers representing our countdown until Thanksgiving Day.

Here is our turkey so far, still lots of family members, but this year we get commentary and explanations on why he is thankful for X. Too fun! Hope we can remember to be thankful all year round, but this adds some extra special turkey fun and decor to our fridge during the holiday season!

I am so grateful and thankful for the free country we live in to serve and worship our Lord Jesus and that our family has been so abundantly blessed.
