Fish

DG has been begging and begging us to go to swimming lessons. Mommy's love of the water and the importance of water safety makes this a wonderful idea. DG loves his teacher Ms Lexi and he has a great time with perma-grin. 

Here are a few of his techniques.

We watch from across the pool, sitting in the center peaking left to watch VW and right to watch DG. VW does his bobs; practices his kicking, making tidal waves with his classmates; duck, plane, solider on his back; and tries with all his might to crawl, but just really only splashes with his rear in the air and not really getting anywhere! [he really just needs to gain some weight!]

DG attentively listens to his teacher. Smiling, giggling, talking to his classmates. As soon as it is his turn, he looks up to make sure we are watching and gives us a thumbs up, then he proudly floats, cups his hands and swims with all his might!

His favorite part his three jumps into the pool. Ms. Lexie asks "do you want to go under?" DG fervently shakes his head yes and without a pause, jumps in.
