The Star

We had a great time setting up the tree with family, but we still had one more tree to decorate...the colorful, kids ornament tree. The boys had a lot of fun, with a Christmas bag on DGs head and "Michael Jackson" one-gloved VW. We carefully put on all the fun ornaments, while running around with our swords, hitting each other, screaming and jingling the ornament bells.

When you live in an organized, everything must have its place world, your ornaments end up like this on your tree. [we only live like this in some aspects of our lives...like the important ones...tree decorating? :-)]

Hanging the star was a very important event and became a battle of who would get to do it. All starting with Mom breaking off the clip with her strong hands! After the battle was fought, DG won putting the star up and VW won plugging it in. Both activities were priceless and brought pure delight to the boys! Look at those eyes twinkle!

The second tree is officially up. And this will be the end of our Christmas decorating this year! Simple this year...I will leave the other 5 crates of decorations in the attic!

Such hard work, DG crashed afterwards (or it could be from all the Thanksmas excitement).
