Sunrise to Sunset

When there is a 5-hour time difference between back home and paradise your schedule is a little off. But who cares when you can head out to the beach and experience it for the very first time with the sunrise.

A view from our room as the sun rises behind us and we head out for an adventure.

The peaceful, methodic crashing of the waves was memorizing and breathe-taking. A few reminders of "let's try not to get wet" quickly subsided as the parents relaxed and moved into vacation mode and the kids experienced the pleasure of the salty water hit their legs!

DG was not quiet sure what to think of the vastness of the dip blue sea. The comfort with Daddy made the sight priceless.

The sound of the waves and the jubilant laughs, screams, and giggles...the beach all to ourselves.

Some breakfast, coffee, removal of wet clothes into swimsuits...time to check out this pool.

Best to test out the snorkels in the pool before the waves. DG loved his snorkel.

Can't be a vacation without some relaxation in the hot tub. How many of us can we fit in here!?!

Time for some slip-sliding away! Mommy will catch ya!

Uh, oh! Mom didn't catch you this time (after I said, I won't let you go under). That is me in the bottom left corner scrabbling to pull DG to safety.

Time to try out some snuba (snorkel and scuba diving together).

What a fun day of firsts...back to the beach for sunset (and our first of many castles!)

The sunset was beautiful! Amazing to watch the tide and changes of the beach from sunrise to sunset.

What an amazing, memorable first day and so much more fun and excitement, and firsts to come!
